Ok, so I have always wanted to give Kat Von D's products a go. I got the lock it foundation and loved it,then I got one of her shadow palettes and loved that too. Shadows were pigmented and easy to blend,really good product. I then saw the lipsticks and thought,"oh lawd,there goes my money".
Having numerous children to care for,I knew I couldn't afford to have that addiction. My plan was to buy the holiday set last year,However I had other obligations. Well,I GOT THEM!!!!! I bought the studded kisses holiday set this year. Or really,they were gifted to me by my sister.
Let's talk about them. To start off there were 8 in the pack,7 minis and one full size. The color range was wonderful for someone like myself. There was a GORGEOUS orange,lilac,opaque as hell,love it, a deep fuchsia,burgundy a glittery black,the prettiest peachy nude and a beautiful red that had what looked like orangy (if that's a word) glitter in it.
These lipsticks are not for cowards,they are BOLD!!! I wouldn't expect anything less from her though.
Quality was really nice,they weren't super drying. I live in Vegas and this time of dry weather is hard on the skin and lips,I have no hair so.... Most of them have a matte finish the others had a sheen but we're not slippery. They stayed on my lips for a long time and still kept the color. There is not a lot of product in the mini,because it's a mini,but if you are not someone to wear just one lipstick,they will last a long time. If you like to just wear one color,these are good for you to test and go buy the full size of what you want.
For me,I would buy ALL of them,every last one. I love them!!!!! Sephora here I come.
